This unique Jar with lid can be used for many things. You can use it for cinnamon and sugar for toast, gourmet salt, a jar of candy, herbs, special trinkets, nuts, –the list could go on forever.

This jar is wheel thrown, with slab built sculptures attached as handles and decoration.

The image is created with an Inlay technique to create the fine black lines, and is painted with underglaze watercolor. Finally, glaze is applied to the inside and to the image. The bare clay is left in the negative space which gives it a lovely tactile quality.
