Curved Mug with Salmon
this mug is handmade, hand-decorated, one-of-a-kind and perfect for a big cup of coffee or tea in the morning.
This mug is formed on the pottery wheel after which the drawing is applied using an inlay technique, then the color is added, and finally the glaze is applied to the inside and to the image. The bare clay is left in the negative space which gives it a lovely tactile quality.
Each mug holds about 12-14 oz. The same amount of clay is always used, but since it is handmade the size varies a little from piece to piece.
