This little Monarch Butterfly Succulent Planter is great for small succulent plants. It makes a great gift, and is the perfect size to sit on your windowsill or the corner of your desk.
Each planter is formed on the pottery wheel. Next, the image is created on the planter using an inlay technique to create the fine lines, the color is then painted on with underglaze watercolor. Finally, glaze is applied to the inside and to the image. The bare clay is left in the negative space which gives it a lovely tactile quality.
