Black Bird Scratchy Tool
This scratchy tool is made to do the scratching to “scratch to attach” or scoring for “slip and score” the compact size makes it easy to fit into tight spaces, and the teeth are good at chewing up the surface of the clay without going too deep.
The beak on this bird even works well to smooth inside tight corners or at handle attatchments
Way back when I was in graduate school I started making these scoring tools to help make darted tumblers. I’ve made them periodically since then and i am so excited to offer them for sale!
