Pink Peony Teacup (small mug)
This Teacup is handmade, hand-decorated, and is the most delightful way to enjoy a small cup of coffee or tea in the morning.
Each teacup is made on the pottery wheel before adding the handle. Then I apply the drawing using an inlay technique. Next, I add the color, then apply glaze to the inside and to the image. Bare clay is left in the negative space, giving the teacup a lovely tactile quality.
