Medium Tumbler is perfect for a cup of water, wine, juice, tea, or coffee (please note that the cup gets a little hot on the outside with hot beverages)-- or even used as a vase for fresh flowers.
It is handmade on the pottery wheel, the drawing is then applied using an inlay technique, next I add the color, then apply glaze to the inside, and to the image. The bare clay is left in the negative space which gives it a tactile quality.
The same amount of clay is always used, but since it is handmade the size varies a little from piece to piece.
